The work reported here provides information relevant to funding and operational decisionmaking in programs concerned with food insecurity in the City Heights area of San Diego. This report describes the system of organizations and programs that distributes food to families that are currently or potentially food insecure, identifies the social and economic characteristics of those most likely to be food insecure, and assesses utilization and reception of these resources among residents of City Heights. The underlying study serves as a basis for recommendations of measures to increase the collective impact of these programs.
